I hated maths as a child, I love it now.

Basically, I was not really good at maths in my first years of study, simply because I was not interested a lot by what was happening in class. I was more passionated by French literature.

At that time, I would primarily focus on meeting people, from various horizons, and also on travelling.

At one point (end of high school), I met with a new friend, and we together began to try and solve mathematical problems, just for fun. It very soon became a passion. We would stay hours, until late at night, struggling on mathematical questions. Sometimes we would take break and tell each other funny stories, then get back to the problem solving.

This routine then continued for 3/4 years. Even today we work together whenever possible.

I developed my passion for maths by discussing with passionated friend and people. I try as much as I can to pass this passion to others now.

Yes. I find math to be full of amazing, beautiful and poetic creations, all the product only of human ingenuity and imagination, a pencil and a paper!

Yes! I love that maths is such a powerful tool for understanding so many other disciplines. Maths can be used to design skyscrapers, predict human behavior, and better understand art and literature! My favorite areas of math are simple, logical, intuitive and highly-applicable. I love that maths allows me to understand how things work!
